Evan Trebouh « Result #1 on Oct 12, 2009, 6:24pm »
I don't see any templates so i'll do this MY WAY
Evan Trehbough (Ashton Kutcher), who suffered severe traumas as a boy and a teenager , blacks out frequently, often at moments of high stress. While in therapy, he finds that when he reads from his adolescent journals, he travels back in time, and is able to essentially "redo" parts of his past, thereby causing the blackouts he experienced as a child. There are consequences to his choices, however, that he then propagates back to the present: his alternate futures vary from frat boy to prisoner to amputee. His efforts are driven by the desire to undo the most traumatic events of his childhood which coincide with his blackouts, including saving his childhood sweetheart Kayleigh , from being molested by her father and tormented by her sociopathic brother .
The actions he takes, and those he enables others to take during his blackouts, change the timeline in the new future wherein he awakes. As he continues to do this, he realizes that even though his intentions are good, the actions he takes have unintended consequences.

General Rules -- Must read « Result #3 on Jan 26, 2008, 9:48pm »
1.) NO GOD-MODDING. This is the most annoying thing in the online world and the number one rule we can enforce; nobody is an all-powerful, super-dominant character. We don’t want to see “So-and-so used his powers to grab whoever and hurl them into the air, knocking them out cold,” or “So-and-so dodged every single attack, jumped 10000 feet into the air and fired a beam of energy, hitting everybody he fired it at.” There will be no reading the thoughts of other characters, no using OOC information to get ahead, etc. If we observe cases of god-modding or if others complain of god-modding, the member will be warned and punished.
2.) No Auto-hitting. Common sense, again. You cannot physically harm or touch another person’s character unless you have their permission. That being said, nobody is untouchable and people will be hurt, but just ask the person beforehand or leave the post open, i.e. “So-and-so threw a punch at what’s-his-face.” That way, what’s-his-face may reply, “What’s-his-face moved out of the way at the last minute, avoiding certain harm,” or, “What’s-his-face was hit, sending him flying across the room.” Understand?
3.) This isn’t an English class, but PLEASE use proper grammar when writing; that means proper punctuation, proper spelling, etc. Spell check is there for a reason, so use it! The better you write, the easier it is for other people to understand you. Nobody’s going to want to reply to a messy post.
4.) Please don’t post one-liners. It is very annoying for other members and hard to work with; try to post at least 6-7 lines each post, although it is understandable if you must have a short post every once and a while.
BAD:
Whoever walked into the building and saw a man “What are you doing?”
GOOD:
Whoever walked into the building, looking around to see who was inside. He noticed a suspicious-looking person standing in the corner, so he slowly made his way over to confront the man.
“What are you doing?”
See how much better that sounds? Add description! Paint a picture for others to work with!
5.) If you know you’re going to be away, whether it be for a few days or a few weeks, please PM either Evolutioned or Freelancer and let them know, so we don’t think you’re inactive.
6.) R-E-S-P-E-C-T. Through the course of your RP experience, it’s almost guaranteed that you will disagree with someone. Try to solve it in a civilized manner and if neither of you can come to an agreement, PM Evolutioned or Freelancer and they will settle the dispute. One thing we will NOT tolerate is flaming; there will be [code-word: kring creation] no name calling, no threatening messages, no insults, NADA. If you choose to do so, then you’re banned.
7.) If you need a show character for a thread, but no one is playing as that character, then PM a staff member and ask them to RP as that character for the thread, until someone decides to claim him/her.
8.) You can participate n more than one thread at one, but you cannot participate in more than one city at once, unless you travel there,
9.) Activity. Try to be as active as you can. Post once a week at least, please, so the other members RPing with you can move along
10.) Of course any Heroes site is going to have villains, but there will be no super-dominant, conquer-the-world-and-destroy-it villains. If, for the sake of character and/or thread development you must do something huge, ie kill an entire city, etc., PM either Evolutioned or Freelancer to get the go-ahead, and explain why such actions are necessary,
11.) Code-words. When you first join, PM Evolutioned or Freelancer (whoever is online) the code-words you will find in the General Rules and Bio Rules. Until we receive the code-words, your characters will not be approved and you will not be allowed to RP.
12.) Signatures at to be a maximum of 500 pixels wide and 300 pixels tall, no bigger. Huge signatures are very annoying for the other members, who have to scroll all the way down to get to the next post. If your signature is too big, we will ask you to change it or it will be removed.
All right, that sums the rules up. As long as you follow these rules, you’ll be able to enjoy your RP experience without any trouble from us. If you don’t, get used to us tailgating you. Move on to the Bio Rules to create your own character, or audition for a show character!

Bio Rules -- Must Read « Result #4 on Jan 26, 2008, 9:48pm »
1.) Let’s be realistic; when creating a character, give them a power we’d actually see on Heroes. No crazy supernatural stuff, unless you can plead your case and prove that the power is relevant to the show.
2.) Characters can have two powers, but only one primary power. If you choose to give them more than one power, the second power must be directly linked to the first (which means no super strength and mind control), and the second power cannot be as strong as the first.
3.) Everybody should have at least one civilian character because it wouldn’t be realistic for the entire world to all be Specials; the civilians outnumber the Specials on a large scale.
4.) Try to be original and use a power that isn’t already in use. If there is one power that you really, really want, PM a staff member and we’ll consider approving you. However, if too many people already have that power, then we won’t be approving you. There are many different powers to choose from, so be creative!
5.) Once you post your bio, wait for it to be accepted by a staff member. Once we approve it, you will see “Approved” at the top of your bio, and we’ll move it into the Accepted Characters sub-board. If there is a problem with your bio, we’ll let you [code-word: future tense] know what’s wrong and what should be edited. If at any point you wish to update your bio, then do so in your own, personal bio thread.
6.) Six Specials for now, please. It’s very hard for new members you come up with original powers, so this allows them a chance at even one Special character. You may have as many civilians as your heart desires, but no more than six Specials.
7.) We can see IP addresses, so we will know if you’ve made another account to get more Specials. If we catch you doing this, then you’ll be put on probation or possibly even banned.
8.) No super-advanced technology or weapons so your civilian characters can achieve Special-like abilities and characteristics.
9.) If you've reached the six-Special limit and desire to create another Special even still, you may kill off one of your Specials, but you must wait a month before creating a new one.
10.) No Mary-Sues! No perfect characters, please. Everybody has their flaws and that what makes the characters characters, so don’t create one.
11.) If you obey these rules, you will be approved and have a fun RPing experience, and if you don’t, then you will be asked to change your bio.
